Description |
A collection of 12 butterflies in a wood frame. They are in a scattered arrangement, with two small white butterflies at the top and two large blue and two large brown and white ones on either side. Smaller butterflies and sprigs of plants are scattered around the larger butterflies. They were caught and collected by international driller John and his wife, Vola Braybrook while on contract in El Centro, Colombia in 1938. The wood molded frame has mitred corners. |
