Description |
Wooden chair (a) and seat cushion (b). a) Low-back Windsor chair. The chair is comprised of a heavy hardwood with a screwed on raised back rest. The backrest is continuous, curving forward to create the armrests. The spindles are turned, tapered with two wire reinforcements that have been secured through the seat to the top stretcher. There is a slab seat created in four pieces that have been reinforced along with four wooden legs. b) Round, red cushion. The cushion is comprised of a red canvas material with five buttons on either side. On the edge of the cushion, there is a stenciled inscription that reads "C.N.R. 4-G7 L.C.T" using black ink. |
