Description |
One gallon Eldorado, Castor Machine Oil can. It is copper in colour with red and black lettering. It has a wire handle at the top of the can and has a screw on lid. Imperial Oil Specialties is printed on the side of the can. |

In 1880 sixteen southwestern-Ontario refiners form The Imperial Oil Company in London, Ontario, to find, produce and distribute petroleum products in Canada. In 1883 Imperial operations move to Petrolia, Ontario, after lightning strikes the London refinery. |
