Remote control 1/4 scale model of a W22 Bucyrus Erie cable tool drilling rig mounted on a truck all made of wood and metal. The truck is white and the drilling rig is yellow. The mast lays down over the truck cab for transport and when it gets to its location the mast raises to a height of eight feet. |

The model was fabricated by Rand Fournier who created it from the Barnes Oil Company drilling rig. Bucyrus-Erie was an American surface and underground mining equipment company which was founded as Bucyrus Foundry and Manufacturing Company in Bucyrus, Ohio, in 1880. In 1927, Bucyrus merged with the Erie Steam Shovel Company to form Bucyrus-Erie. In 1997, it was renamed Bucyrus International, Inc which was purchased in 2010 by Caterpillar. |
