Description |
Small, rectangular banner showcasing a collection of pins. The banner is comprised of a white satin material with a small pocket along the top and bottom. Across the top of the banner, there is an inscription that reads "Jim Hodgins IBEW 530" written using red embroidery thread. Underneath, there is a small light blue and white enamel pin that reads "I.B.E.W. A.F.of L." around the outer edge along with an illustration in the center depicting a fist framed by a series of lightning bolts. Below, there is a selection of fourteen blue, white and gold pins, twelve of those pins each represent five years with the International Brotherhood of Electric Workers. The pins commemorate a total of sixty years of service along with a small pin for retirement. The last three pins feature a diamond in the center while the final pin is gold and serves as a pin for the "Sarnia Electricians" with a caption that references the organization. The banner also includes a short wooden dowel inserted into the pocket along the top, for hanging. |
