Description |
A collection of 12 butterflies in a wood frame. There are two butterflies down the centre, a blue one on the top and a white and brown swallowtail below it. The others are smaller and are in a scattered arrangement on either side of the two. They were caught and collected by international driller John and his wife, Vola Braybrook while on contract in El Centro, Colombia December 28, 1935. The plain wood frame has a lower mitred wood trim on the inside. |
