Description |
Utensil is carved from a brownish transparent material, said to be an animal horn. It is very light in weight. It looks more like a spoon but is flat, not concave. The knife blade is carved and blunt, with a notch. The handle end is carved to resemble a warrior's head. It has been acquired in the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia). |

Brought back by the donor's grandfather, William McRae, who was an international driller. He worked for Royal Dutch Oil Company for 25 years all prior to 1915 in Java, Sumatra, Singapore, East Indies. |
