Wooden stand (b) with woven grass bowl (a). The bowl is green, dark and light beige striped, and is in a swirl. The stand is in a tripod shape, with snake like features of a face and tubular body. |

Handmade by women in Saudi Arabia. Obtained while Linda's husband was employed by ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia. The donor's husband, Patrick Pickford, was born in Petrolia in 1941. Patrick's working career as a Stationary Engineer, Instrumental Technician and Electrician took him to many industries in the Sarnia Lambton Petrochemical Complex (Dow, Nova, Shell, Polysar, Monsanto), the Middle East (Aramco in Saudi Arabia, Oasis Oil in Libya), Borneo and Fort McMurray. |
