Description |
Silver communion pitcher with a hinged lid. The pitcher is tall, narrow and plain in style. The base of the lid is rippled and tapers dramatically towards the top, forming a point. On the back of the lid, there is a small embossed shape that resembles a shield which rests against the handle when the lid is open. There is also a small piece of metal on the back of the lid that acts as a hinge. The handle is long and elaborate which includes a small knob at the top to support the lid. The base of the handle is adorned with a small heart shaped piece of metal. On the opposite side, there is a short covered spout with asymetrical sides that taper to a point. The space below the handle is adorned with a prominent band around the sides which transitions towards a round base with a subtle taper. |
