Patchwork blanket made from rectangles of wool suiting. The blanket is comprised of alternating horizontal and vertical rows that have been cut with pinking shears, overlapped, and double seamed. |

This style of blanket is also known as a Hit & Miss blanket. The blanket was sewn by Elsie Peart of Guelph, who summered in Ipperwash. The quilt was used at the cottage as a blanket. |
