Description |
A collection of 16 butterflies in a wood frame. They are in a scattered arrangement with light colour butterflies at the top and dark ones on the bottom row. There are two larger light blue butterflies on either side of a small translucent butterfly with a black dot on its bottom wings in the middle. They were caught and collected by international driller John and his wife, Vola Braybrook while on contract in El Centro, Colombia in 1940. The plain wood frame has a lower mitred wood trim on the inside. |
