This item is from the Lawrence family collection. The Lawrence family were the owners of the Lawrence Lumber Co. located in Sarnia, Ontario. This item would have been used as a decorative bowl for serving nuts. Edward Carroll Lawrence was the son of William F. Lawrence, who married Ada Hanes in 1902. Edward was raised in the Lawrence House which was in built in 1892, on Christina Street in Sarnia. |
