Painted clay figurine sitting on a painted wooden base.This figurine is of a woman and her baby. She has brown skin. She is sitting with the baby between her legs. The baby is covered in an orange shawl or blanket with green, white and red stripes and white shirt, with an orange bonnet with white polka dots. The woman is wearing a green skirt with an orange and white stripe near bottom, a pink blouse, blue vest with design, orange and black hat. This woman is selling pottery she holds two pieces with two of her feet. One of which has a face on it. |

This statue is from the area of the Meta River a tributary of the Orinoco River in Colombia South America. They were brought back from South America, Colombia by John Braybrook in 1936. He was an International Driller. |
