Description |
Painted clay figurine sitting on a painted wooden base. The statue is of a man in a seated position and is wearing sandals, green pants, with white cuffs, blue shirt with a brown blanket with blue, white and orange stripes hanging over one shoulder. The man has dark skin and is wearing a grey up turned hat with a black stripe around center. This man is playing a flute. At his feet there are 3 egg shaped shapes, which could be fruit. |

This statue is from the area of the Meta River a tributary of the Orinoco River in Colombia South America. They were brought back from South America, Colombia by John Braybrook in 1936. He was an International Driller. |
