This item belonged to Wesley Laid and would have been used at the Springvale Beef Ring Slaughterhouse to store the meat. The Bosanquet farmers living west of Thedford had organized a mutual Beef Association in January 1906 with the following officers: Robert Tidball (President), James Hamilton (Secretary Treasurer), and Isaiah Barley (Butcher). |
