Description |
Double-headed iron hammer with a wooden handle. One head is cylindrical with a flat face and the other is a tapered cylinder with a flat face. The wooden handle is wider at the grip end and tapered towards the neck. |
Provenance |
Used for riveting tank roofs in the boiler shop of the Imperial Oil Company before 1900. The Trott family had a sawmill and cooperage in Oil City starting in 1881. |
