Description |
Clear, pressed glass breakfast set containing a spooner (a), sugar bowl (b - c), butter dish (d - e) and a creamer (f). a) Clear, pressed glass spooner. The spooner is tall with a prominent rim around the base. The sides of the spooner are adorned with etchings depicting Maple leaves. b - c) Clear, pressed glass sugar bowl (b) and lid (c). The bowl is tall and cylindrical with a prominent rim around the base. The sides of the bowl are adorned with an six stippled Maple leaves along with fans and rays around the top section of the bowl. The lid is dome shaped and features an identical Maple leaf pattern. On top, there is a round glass knob handle with stippled maple leaves on the sides and a single leaf on the tip. d - e) Clear, pressed glass butter dish (d) and lid (e). The dish is round and resembles a shallow bowl with a wide rim around the edge. The rim is adorned with sixteen stippled maple leaves. There are subtle leaves around the bowl of the dish as well. The bottom of the dish has a starburst or ray design. The lid is dome shaped and features a matching Maple leaf pattern. There is a round knob handle on top of the lid with three maple leaves on the side and one on the very top of the knob. f) Clear, pressed glass cream pitcher. The pitcher is small and adorned with stippled maple leaves on the sides, with fans and ray designs around the top. On one side, there is a clear, round handle. On the opposite side, two of the fans extend outwards to form the shape of the spout. |
