Description |
Handheld school bell. The bell is made of brass and includes a small, black weight used as a clapper. The clapper is suspended from the underside of the bell using a metal hook. The bell also includes a short wooden handle connected to the top of the bell. |
Provenance |
This school bell was donated by Catharine (nee Rows) O'Donnell who was the last teacher at S.S. No. 3. The school closed in December of 1963 and the children were moved to the Bosanquet Central school the following year. |
