Description |
A ceramic tumbler with an image, in black, of a wood drilling rig with plume of oil gushing from the top .Surrounding the image are stripes of pink, blue and brown. The colours are blended together in an airbrushed effect. Beneath the image is written: Torpedoing an oil well, Petrolea, Canada. |

The donor, believes that the tumbler was her father's, Robert Garrison and brother John, from Port Huron, who were among the early pioneers of the oil drillers in the Oil Springs and Petrolia area. |
