Dagger and scabbard. a). The scabbard is made of a silver metal that has been engraved with a pattern and has a finial on the tip. b). The blade is straight with a slight curve on the bottom. The maker's mark is a scrolled design. The handle is ebony and silver with a silver guard. |

The donor's great grandfather, Robert Rawlings, was an International Driller and acquired this object. He drilled in Sumatra on two contracts between 1890 and 1902. |
