Description |
White sun hat fit for a child. a) White linen ring with a hole ringed with eight small white buttons. Elastic has been attached to the underside edges of the hole and makes up the brim of the hat. b) Round piece of white linen with eight button holes around the edge which forms the bonnet of the hat. |

This item is from the Lawrence family collection. The Lawrence family were the owners of the Lawrence Lumber Co. located in Sarnia, Ontario. Edward Carroll Lawrence was the son of William F. Lawrence, who married Ada Hanes in 1902. Edward was raised in the Lawrence House which was in built in 1892, on Christina Street in Sarnia. |
