Description |
The quiver is made from slender reeds that are woven together to make a long basket, the outside has black casing and is from a crude rubber tree called the Bullet Wood tree which is native to the Northern Amazon. When it is tapped it produces raw rubber, called balata. The two baskets attached are full of native cotton, which is put on the end of darts so they fit tightly in the blowgun. |
