Tall, glass champagne bottle with a green tint. The bottle is plain in design with a narrow band around the opening of the bottle and a thick rim. |
Provenance |
This item was recovered by the commercial diver, Wayne Brusate during the excavation of the wreck of the Steamer Regina in 1986 under a permit from the State of Michigan, Department of Natural Resources. The Regina was discovered in Lake Huron near Port Sanilac, Michigan on July 1st, 1986 by Wayne Brusate, of Commercial Diving & Marine Services, Inc. The Regina was carrying a mixed cargo of merchandise and was lost with all members of the crew during the Great Storm of 1913. This item came to the Lambton Heritage Museum from the Great Lakes Maritime Institute. |
