Description |
Glass milk or cream bottle (a) with a green, plastic re-usable cap (b). The bottle is small with a wide, pronounced rim. On the side of the bottle, the words "Silverwood's Safe Milk"are featured inside a simple line border written using red letters. The cap is round and green with the words "Sanitary Milk Bottle" and "Cover For Your Protection" embossed into the plastic. The center of the cap tapers upwards forming a peak, there are three rings and four tabs along the outside. |

Silverwood Dairy was founded by Albert Edward Silverwood (1876 - 1961) who was born in Oakwood, Ontario and later became the President and Managing Director of Silverwood Industries Limited of London, Ontario. The Silverwood Dairy Ltd. In Sarnia was torn down after a fire on November 9th, 1967. |
