Description |
Small, red velvet ceremonial collar. The collar is adorned with three metallic stars on each side of the collar. A metallic trim with small depictions of three link chains using red thread has been added to the border along with a matching metal fringe that follows the outer edge towards the chain clasp in the center. A set of three silver chain links have been added to the opening of the collar. The lining is made from pink satin. |

It is uncertain if this item is associated with the Rebekahs or the International Order of Odd Fellows given the style. The Rebekahs, also known as the International Assciation of Rebekah Assemblies (IARA) and originaly the Daughters of Rebehak was initially designed as a the female auxiliary of The Independent Order of Odd Fellows. The IOOF was a Global Fraternal Organization with roots going back to 1730 London, England. The Rebekahs was founded in 1851. The Odd Fellows Hall was located on 4230 Petrolia Line in Petrolia which is the present day location of Grandis Jewelers. |
