Provenance |
This blanket is an "Ark" brand blanket that was from a woolen mill in Arkona. One of a pair, given to the donor in the in 1930s. The blanket sold for $8.00 each. The mill was built in 1860s by Alex Dickson and was destroyed by fire in 1939, at which time the family moved to London, Ontario to start over. |
