This image is in greyscale. Five girls, close to the camera, are the primary figures in the image. The girl on the far left is looking towards the left, away from the camera. He has on a thin lace material on her head, covering her hair. Over her left shoulder, a nook is the front of the building is visible, with a small statue inside of it. She is supporting the front left corner of the base of the portrait with her hand on the right. The portrait is of a woman. It is framed and supported on a base that some of the girls are carrying. The base and frame are decorated with vines and flowers. The girl left-middle is carrying the front right corner of the base with her left hand. They have on simple knees length skirts with a small design t the bottom. The far right side of the image has part of a man in a suit visible, but majority of him is cut off. There is a group of adults following behind the girls, at a bit of a distance. |
