Description |
Police broke up a student protest at City Hall shortly before 2 p.m. today. The students, almost 1,000 of them, were all from Sarnia Collegiate Institute. They were protesting what they termed "inadequate gym facilities at the school." The photograph features the road as students march past in the distance. The bottom half of the photograph is mainly empty road. While in the top portion of the image, a crowd of students can be seen marching down the sidewalk. Standing next to a parked car on the street is a police officer. He has his back to the camera and is watcing the students. On the right side of the image, two men, both wearing suits with their hands in their pockets, can be seen standing and watching the students parade past. Behind the row of students several large houses can be seen; as well as, many trees. On the left side of the image a car can be seen driving past. A street sign is visible, behind the parked car, one of the street signs is unreadable, but the other says Crawford Street. |
