There is a photocopy of this image also under this number with a black text biography underneath the image. It reads "Born Ecclesville, Tyrone, Ireland, 1817. To Canada, 1835. Farmer. J.P. many years. One of the oldest magistrates in county, appointed when Essex and Kent were in Western District. Latterly resided Watford, where known as "The Squire." Rebellion, 1837. Died Watford, 1882. Age 65." |
