This is a greyscale photograph of Marion Clinkman (nee Kerr) and Mabel Chowman (nee Clinkman) standing in a line with four other, unidentified individuals. Marion (first name from outside resources) is standing on the far right of the group, her hands at her side. She is wearing a loose black dress with a cinched waste and shear sleeves with a black beaded necklace. To the left of her is an unidentified man standing slightly behind the women on either side of him. He is wearing a dark, three piece suit with an unbuttoned jacket, a vest and a white collared shirt and patterned tie. Mabel is in the centre right of the group, her hands out in front of her holding a bouquet of white roses tied together with a ribbon. She is wearing a similar dress to her mother (Marion) except she has detailed embroidery on the skirt of her dress. An unidentified man stands to the left of Mabel, wearing a suit jacket over a white collar short and patterned tie and a flower pinned to his jacket. His arms are at his sides. An unidentified woman is standing second from the left, hooking her arms through the arms of the individuals on either side of her. She is wearing a white dress with a long skirt and a pendent necklace. A second unidentified woman is standing on the far left of the group, standing with her arms at her sides and looking off to the left of the camera. She is wearing a dark dress with a crocheted lace collar and a long necklace. The group is standing in front of a corner to a porch, directly in front of a detailed support pillar. The house has paneled exterior walls and a rectangular window that is half open. Around the house and the group are various bushes and plants. The photograph is glossy. |
