Description |
The Dante Club held a dinner and dance recently in the Polish Hall honoring Centennial year and the first sod turning for Dante Hall, to be erected on London Road. The photograph features a row of tables. In the background there is a stage visible which has curtains hanging from it. There is a man standing on the stage reading off of a paper, he holds a microphone in one hand, and a paper in the other. He is wearing a suit and tie. On the side of the stage a flag can be seen, it is unclear what country or group the flag is from. The table is covered in dishes, and food. There are eight people visible, seated at the tables. From the right, an unidentified an in a suit and tie. Next to him is an unidentified women with short hair, who is wearing a sleeveless dress. She has her legs crossed under the table, and she is wearing heels. Next to her, is an unidentified man, who is wearing a suit and tie. He is wearing a pair of dark rimmed, thick framed glasses. Next to him is an unidentified women, who has her head turned to the left of the image. Next to her is an unidentified man, in a suit and tie, he has a receding hairline and he is facing straight ahead. Next to him is an unidentified women, wearing a sleeveless dress. She has shoulder length hair, that is tightly curled. Next to her are two men, both are wearing suits and have glasses on. On the left side of the image, a door can be seen in the corner of the room. Next to the door is a large window that is covered in a curtain. |
