The men are wearing suits, and Marie is wearing a dark dress with a dark hat. All are wearing eyeglasses, and their chairs are facing the right. Richard is looking back at the camera, while the rest are looking to the right. In the background, there are more people, and there is a curtain at the back. The photograph has been taken from the left. On the back, the date is written, and there is a mark of what appears to be black crayon. This photograph was published in the Sarnia Observer on June 10, 1961 on page 9 (with the text extending to page 15), with the associated article titled, "Dedicated to 'Happiness and Vision': Library 'Closed' For Opening." The article discussed how the updated Sarnia Public Library was opened with a private ceremony. Richard ("director of the London public library and art museum") spoke at the event.
