In the background is the sphinx and pyramids. W.O. Gillespie is to the left with the white Panama hat, next is an English gentleman and his wife. At the right is the proprietor of the hotel (where they were staying). It is in a brown wood frame. The photo is surrounded by dark brown matting. |

The donor's father, William (Bill) Gillespie was an International Driller for 24 years working in six countries on four continents. The photograph was hung in the Gillespie home on Crescent Park, Petrolia, Ontario. |
