Description |
Grayscale image, Front Street. Photo was titled "Proof of Sarnias," however the image was not found in the newspaper. Photo shows a man on the left wearing a formal suit with a bag on his right shoulder while he is standing looking down with his back facing the camera. On his left are two kids with their right shoulders facing the camera while they look to the right. On the road in front of them is a large tow truck with the hood smashed and the back of another tow truck in front of it on the right. The ground beneath these two vehicles is wet. Further down the street on the left is a car parked with its nose facing the camera and a truck with a raised bed and a man standing in the back facing the camera. The other side of the street behind the two tow trucks is a long row of connected brick buildings with businesses inside them. The store on the far-right has a sign above it that reads "Yeo & Callister Agency Insurance" with a man in a suit and it standing in front of the building facing the camera with both of his hands on his hips. To the left is a business with a sign above the windows reading "Haines Frontier Printing Limited - Engraving, Designing, Typeset, Letterpress" with two people standing inside as they look through the glass door at the vehicles. The building on the left has a sign above the entrance reading "Sarnia Paint Supply." There is numerous other business that are not visible from behind the vehicles, but the left side has a sign reading "Bernards." There are multiple utility poles visible above the buildings and a string of lights that stretches from one side of the street to the other. |
