Description |
Framed, black and white photograph featuring Rudy Vallee. The subject is facing forward while his body is turned to the left side of the frame. One leg is propped on top of the other while his hands are folded and resting on his ankle. He is pictured wearing a dark coloured suit and a light coloured tie adorned with a pin strip pattern along with a watch. There is an inscription on the left hand side that reads "To Ella, the charming daughter of a real host. Gratefull Rudy Vallee". |

This photograph was purchased in Londond, Ontario from Fred Israels for $75. The photo is inscribed to Ella Eccleston, daughter of George Eccleston, owner of Lakeview Casino, Grand Bend. Valle appeared there August 29, 1930 with his band Connecticut Yankees. |
