Description |
John Raeside Gemmill Warden, 1865. Born in Scotland, on the 9th of February 1808. Newspaper publisher of "Lanark Observer" from 1850 to 1853 and "Sarnia Observer "1853 - 1879. Came to Canada with his father's family in 1821 and settled in Lanark and lived there and in Perth until his removal to Sarnia in 1853. Died May 24th, 1891, at 83 years of age and buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia. |
