Black and white photograph of Roy Emerson Dick, warden of Lambton County in 1939. He appears standing next to a short pillar and in front of a curtain backdrop, wearing a black robe and tricorn hat. Two papers, attached to the photo, were originally glued into a frame. The top paper is printed with "WARDEN, 1939", and a paper on the bottom says "ROY EMERSON DICK / Born in the Village of Hensall, County of Huron, in the year 1896, and remained there until the age of 20. Studied Telegraphy and has been Telegrapher for Canadian National Railways, Watford, for the past 20 years. Married Marguartie Cook, of Watford, July 6th, 1923. Entered his Municipal Career in Watford in 1930 and has been a member of the Lambton County COuncil since 1935. In politics, a Conservative. Religion, Church of England". |
