Imperial Esso - 67 X Car |
Date |
23 May 1967 |
Description |
The 67-X - or tomorrow's car as it has been labelled - was in Sarnia and Point Edward for brief visits this week. The ultra-modern vehicle is top prize in a gasoline promotion project currently being conducted at all Imperial Esso service stations. The car is an entirely original conception and only four have been built. The photograph features the 67-X on the bed of a truck trailer. Standing beside the car, is a young women. She has short hair that is styled in a poofy neat way. She is wearing a matching blazer and skirt set, with a pair of low heels. Her one hand is by her side, while the other hand is leaning on the window of the 67-X car. She is bending over to look down at the car. The truck bed that the car is parked on has a sign at the end that lists some of the many qualities of the 67-X. A sign hangs from the bed of the truck that reads "Esso Roadshow 67 Grand Prize." Behind the car, on the left, a sign can be seen that reads "ERIAL." In the background on the left, a grove of trees can be seen reaching up to the sky. |
