Provenance |
Taken while Patrick and Linda Pickford were in Saudi Arabia when Patrick was working there for Aramco. The donor's husband, Patrick Pickford, was born in Petrolia in 1941. Patrick's working career as a Stationary Engineer, Instrumental Technician and Electrician took him to many industries in the Sarnia Lambton Petrochemical Complex (Dow, Nova, Shell, Polysar, Monsanto), the Middle East (Aramco in Saudi Arabia, Oasis Oil in Libya), Petronas in Borneo and Fort McMurray, Alberta. His wife accompanied Patrick on this work contract 1978-1980. They lived in a company community while living in Saudi Arabia. |
