They are Lawrence and Howard Hartley of the Hartley Meat Market in Oil Springs. Calendars on the wall are from December 1914. Meat carcasses are hanging from the wall on sitting on the counter. |

Melvin Hartley owned the Hartley Meat Market in 1911. His sons Howard and Lawrence operated the market together from 1937 to 1947 when Howard became the sole owner until 1982. |
