Addressed to Miss Ellen Sanson, Petrolea, Ontario, Canada, B.N. America. Message: India, Jan 20/09. Dear Ellen! Getting home slowly. S.S. Marmora of P & O Line a fine boat. Not many passengers. From the Ellen Sanson postcard/photo collection. She was from Petrolia and her brother James (Jim) was an International Driller. He worked for the Eastern Petroleum Co. in Suez, Egypt. Postcard was in original album OMC 2016.002.332 which was removed upon arrival to OMC. In 2021 they were further conserved and placed in photo envelopes and an archival box at which time they were renumbered. |
