Black and white photograph of an oil field in Oil Springs with numerous three-pole derricks and jerker lines. One prominent derrick is in the centre, with a split rail fence dividing an area behind it. The picture is taken from a low area with a low hill beyond. Two houses are on the hill at the right and to the left of the central derrick. Two buildings are on the low area between the rail fence and the house on the left. On the bottom right border is the photographer's name: Frank G. Kiborn, Windsor. On the back is written: Original Oil field, Oil Springs. |
