The photograph features an unidentified pole vaulter after he has landed on the jump cushion. The unidentified pole vaulter has just landed, he is laying on his back on the cuhion, with his hands out. The photo only shows the back of his head. He is wearing shorts and a sleeveless shirt. On the right a boy can be seen standing on a ladder looking down on the pole vaulter. The boy is on the fourth step of the ladder. He is wearing pants, and a jacket. From the left side of the image, up until the boy on the ladder is a row of individuals, both students and adults watching the pole vaulting event. The pole can be seen on the left side of the image as well. In the background on the right, a building can be seen (potentially the school). On the right side, a boy in long pants and a jacket, can be seen running through the field. |
