Description |
Black and white photograph of the Oil Springs Town Hall with a black car parked to the right. |
Provenance |
Photos most likely belonged to Isabel Miller, a past resident of Oil Springs. Photos were dropped off at the Oil Springs Municipal office by an unknown person. The community hall was built in 1932. It contained the Council chamber, Clerk's Office, Library, Post Office, and the original Fire Hall, which was converted to the Clerk's Office when the new Fire Hall was built in 1983. In 2001 the council chamber and clerk's office moved to the former Toronto Dominion Bank building. The library is now located in the former clerk's office. |
