Part a: Black leather binder containing various Crane catalogs spanning from 1929 to 1931, although they are not in chronological order. On the inside of the front cover, "865 Albert Hancock & Co." is written in gold. There are 16 catalogs contained inside and these show various products for sale. The various products include valves, fittings, steam traps and unions. The various catalogs are different colours on the outside but they contain black and white images of the products for sale, as well as size and price charts. Company information is typically found on the back. Part b: Yellowed paper with Crane Co. information at the center top of the page in black. Typed by typewriter below is a letter dated January 7, 1931 asking the recipient to insert the most recent circular received (No. 248) into the black binder. This is signed by Edmund Burke, the manager of the Oil Sales Department. The maker of the paper is KVP Mimeograph, as this is impressed in sections in the corners of the page. Part b: Yellowed paper with Crane Co. information at the center top of the page in black. Typed by typewriter below is a letter dated January 20, 1931 telling the recipient about an amendment to the most recent circular (No.248) on page 36. This is signed by Edmund Burke, the manager of the Oil Sales Department. The maker of the paper is KVP Mimeograph, as this is impressed at the top and bottom of the page (upside down). |

The text at the top is printed onto the paper, whereas the body of the text is typed by a typewriter. The maker of the paper is impressed into the corners of the page.
