Summary |
Part a: Light rust coloured book containing the "Acts and Regulations respecting the Public, Separate and High Schools." In this book, are all the Ontario laws relating to the schools listed above. On the two front pages and the two back pages is a purple stamp reading "The Property of S.S. No 4 Not of Any Individual" (the four is in brown ink and three of the four stamps have "Dawn" written in brown ink). On the first pages there are notes in pencil with "Dawn 1878" written in brown ink as well. Part b: A newspaper clipping titled "Law Society." It details a list of "candidates" who "have been admitted as students at law" followed by those who received scholarships. |

Part a: Light rust coloured book with rectangular border impressed into the cover. This border has both straight lines and floral decals. In the center of the upper half, impressed in gold is "Compendium of School Law and Regulations. Education Department, Ontario. - 1878" in varying font sizes. A "7" is written in black ink on the top of the pages (visible when book is closed) Part a Dimensions: Depth: 1.8cm, Width: 16.3cm, Length: 24.4cm Part b: Light brown newspaper clipping with bold title in black and small black text. Right side is not a smooth edge. Back side also features words in black text. Part b Dimensions: Width: 6cm, Length: 8.2cm |
