Summary |
Part a: Black hardcover with orange detailing. On the inside cover is a sectional index, detailing the types of products available for sale inside this catalog. Some examples include, "derricks," "rotary drilling tools," and "pipe." On the first page in black ink near the top is "1935." Beside this in blue ink is "David Stewart Rawlings." In the center of the page in blue ink, is the phone number "517-773-9968." There are three stamps in purple ink that read, "Stover and Rawlings." The pages are white and shiny, with black text and black and white photographs showing the various products for sale. Part b: Yellowed newspaper article titled "The Story of Our Glorious Flag." The article discusses the history of the Union Jack and how it was formed from three distinct flags (St. George's Flag, St. Andrews's Flag and St. Patrick's Flag). Drawings of the Union Jack, and these three flags are in the center of the article. On the reverse side is an article about earrings, but this is partially cut off. |
