Title |
Chapman's Ontario School District Cash Book School District No. No 2 Oil Springs Public School |
Scope & Content |
Red fabric hard cover book. In the center of the front cover is a white sticker with black text. There are two black lines forming a rectangular border around the text. The title is typed, except for "No 2 Oil Springs Public School" which is handwritten in black ink. Underneath this is publisher information. There is a purple stamp in both bottom corners on an angle and in the center of the top which reads "Continuation." On the first page there is black text and the page is titled "Chapman's Ontario School Board's Cash Book - Suggestions for Secretary-Treasurer" with more publisher information at the bottom. The pages are white and at the top of the left page is "School Board's Receipts Oil Springs." This is typed, but "Oil Springs" as well as the date has been filled in with black ink. On the right side, the title reads "School Board's Expenditures Oil Springs" with "Oil Springs" and the date again being written in. The purple stamp reading "continuation" is also near the title with its location varying throughout the book. Underneath this, there is a pink chart with black headings. These charts have been filled in mostly with black ink but also sometimes red ink. The information on the left chart is the money that the school acquired, while the information on the right side is what the school paid out, including teachers salaries. The totals are listed at the bottom. The first page with a chart lists B.A. Evoy as the Secretary Treasurer. When the book is closed, the edges of the pages are green. |
