Ledger for Harry Tew's butcher business in Oil Springs from 1890 to 1907. A page is devoted to each customer. The last few pages have expenditures for Pelton & Tew Oil Co. where they were apparently in partnership in drilling and operating oil wells in Oil Springs. Harry Tew was born in 1847. He had a butchering business in Oil Springs. His 150 acre farm was on the 2nd Concession Lot 3 of Enniskillen which is now called Oil Springs Line and it is west of Oil Heritage Road. |
