Letter dated March 20th, 1908 on "Canadian Oil Company" letterhead of Toronto, Ontario to "Stevenson Boiler & Engine Works", Petrolea, Ontario. The letter explains the enclosed cheques are for settlement of account to December 31, 1907 for a total of $1580.31. The letterhead has four image insets of a drilling rig for producing; oil tank car for shipping; horse and wagon for distributing; and a refining still for refining. W.S. Calvert, M.P. is the president and T.H. Hamilton is the general manager. The Canadian Oil Company Limited are refiners of Canadian and American petroleum and manufacturers of lubricating oils, paints and varnish of the celebrated "Sterling" brand. The head office is at 123 Bay Street, Toronto. |
